What are the advantages of Elevator Power Lock compared with traditional mechanical locks?

1. Upgrade of security protection system
Elevator Power Lock builds a dynamic defense mechanism through the dual protection system of electronic authentication and mechanical structure. Avoid accidents caused by power failure of traditional electromagnetic locks. At the same time, it is equipped with AS-I bus communication module, which can monitor abnormal vibration in real time and trigger alarms. In addition, its linkage control function can automatically switch to mechanical lock and cut off power during elevator maintenance to avoid hidden dangers of live operation.

2. Improvement of user experience and efficiency
The fully automatic drive technology of electric locks optimizes the use process. Traditional mechanical locks require external motors to drive large gears to open and close doors, resulting in high noise volume and high power consumption, while electric locks have built-in micro motors to directly drive the lock tongue, and the door opening speed is increased to within 0.5 seconds, the noise is less than 25 decibels, and the energy consumption is reduced by about 40%.

3. Intelligent management and maintenance cost optimization
The Internet of Things integration capability of electric locks enables remote monitoring and predictive maintenance. The platform can view indicators such as lock voltage and temperature in real time. Its modular design supports plug-in circuit replacement, and combined with the kinetic energy recovery device, the wireless version can achieve a maintenance-free cycle for a certain period of time, greatly reducing labor maintenance costs. In contrast, mechanical locks rely on regular manual inspections, and the troubleshooting efficiency is low, resulting in higher operation and maintenance costs.
